Educational Programs

Education, we all agree, is the key for our prosperity and growth. It alleviates poverty and provides opportunity for political, social & economical upward mobility.
Immigrants coming to the United States, Canada, and Europe often experience a plethora of problems getting their education & foreign degrees properly recognized by employers and educational institutions. Professionals, including doctors, professors and engineers have been forced to give up their profession, while others must start at entry level, because of lack of English Language proficiency.
Although there are many good colleges, the immigrant communities often find them to be too expensive. Some are too rigid with admission criteria or have class-schedules unsuitable for the Non-English-Speaking adult students. After nearly 10-years of research, MCC helped set-up a low-tuition, 2-year non-profit Vocation/Career College in 2010, in the State of Michigan (www.americanacademyedu.org), in four faculties: Arts/Humanities, Languages/Cultures, Business Administration, and Health & Medicine.
Approved by the State of Michigan, AAIE helps immigrants &  others, graduate under our ‘competency-based, non-traditional personalized curriculum, thus offering post-secondary education and well-paying careers to deserving students, both youth & adults as 2 nd or 3 rd careers.

The Multicultural Council has four major goals for our Educational Programs:

1. To set up a virtual high school, to help graduate students who have been unable to graduate from high school for whatever reason.
2. To set-up a ‘EDUCATION WITHOUT BORDERS’ Free or highly subsidized University (PanAm World University), offering a wide variety of academic programs to our local and foreign students – especially those who are unable to obtain their credentials due to cost or lack of other resources.
3. Collaborate with many other colleges & universities around the world, to help recruit foreign students, offer good scholarships, grants and help our youth become qualified in a variety of professions.
4. Offer ‘International Educational Exchange Programs’ for students, teachers & scholars at all levels, under our ‘Study Abroad’ programs.
